What it is
What an SEO agency does today
An SEO agency in Mallorca makes your website the clearest, fastest and most trustworthy option for Google when people search for what you offer. That covers technical audits, keyword research in English and Spanish, on-page work, content, authority and measurement, for businesses on the island and beyond that want a channel of their own.
A search can now end in an organic result, a Maps listing or an AI-generated answer, and in Spain Google remains by far the dominant search engine. Our job is to make your site the source search engines and AI models prefer to cite.
This page covers the full programme. Specialist services go deeper where needed, such as GEO for visibility in ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Copilot.

Who needs an SEO agency in Mallorca
You need an SEO agency when your business depends on being found by people who don't know you yet, and your website isn't winning or converting those visits. In Mallorca, demand also shifts with the season, arrives in several languages and is spread across Palma de Mallorca, the rest of the island, Ibiza and Menorca.
High-season content has to be ready months ahead, and many visitors search in English or German from home, before they travel. Each language has its own vocabulary and competitors, which is why multi-market projects pair with international SEO.
- Key pages are missing from Google or slow to be indexed.
- Traffic dropped after an algorithm update or a redesign.
- Competitors appear in AI answers and you don't.
- Every season starts from zero with paid ads.
- Your English pages get visits but few enquiries.

SEO in the age of AI answers
SEO remains the foundation for appearing in AI answers. Google's guide to AI search, updated in July 2026, says SEO best practices remain foundational and that there are no additional requirements for AI Overviews or AI Mode beyond being indexed and eligible to show with a snippet.
It already matters in Spain: AI Overviews launched here on 25 March 2025 in Spanish and English, and AI Mode arrived in Spanish in October 2025. These answers often remove the need to click, so what matters is whether your brand is part of the answer.
Beyond Google, ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity run their own crawlers, so we check that your robots.txt and CDN aren't blocking them: since 1 July 2025, Cloudflare has blocked known AI crawlers by default and asks new domains to choose. And we don't sell myths: Google confirms llms.txt has no effect on its search.

The three pillars behind your rankings
Organic visibility rests on three pillars that must move together: a technical base Google can crawl, index and load quickly; content that satisfies search intent; and earned authority that backs up your expertise. If one falls short, the other two deliver far less.
Technical: crawling, indexing, rendering, structured data and Core Web Vitals, where responsiveness is now measured with INP. Thresholds and deeper work sit within technical SEO.
Content: since March 2024 Google has assessed helpfulness within its core ranking systems, and its AI guide names non-commodity content (original, first-hand, expert) as the most influential long-term factor in AI search. We turn what only you know into a content marketing plan.
Authority: the lasting kind is earned through citable content and digital PR, never bought. Since FAQ markup stopped earning rich results on 7 May 2026, we only implement schema that still adds value.

Bilingual SEO for Mallorca and the Balearics
We work natively in English and Spanish, with separate keywords, titles and angles for each version, linked through hreflang so Google shows every user the right language. Someone searching in English for a clinic or a restaurant in Majorca uses different words from a local searching in Spanish.
As an SEO company covering the Balearics, we treat geography with the same care. If you serve Palma de Mallorca, other towns, Ibiza or Menorca, each area page needs its own substance: hours, directions and local questions. Cloned pages that only swap the place name are scaled low-value content, exactly what Google's spam policies target.
Where premises matter, on-site SEO is coordinated with your Google Business Profile, which Google's guide says also helps you appear in its AI answers; local SEO goes deeper into maps and reviews.

SEO without shortcuts: what Google penalises
Google penalises shortcuts. Its spam policies, updated in August 2026, target site reputation abuse, scaled low-value content (AI-generated included), expired domain abuse and link spam, and since May 2026 they also apply to generative AI responses in Search. We never buy links or mass-produce pages.
Since 30 August 2026, site reputation manual actions no longer apply to results shown in the European Economic Area, Spain included; Google may instead let affected sections rank separately. Outside the EEA the action still applies, and content without value still struggles to rank anywhere.
As of October 2026, Google has released two Search core updates this year, in March and May, plus several spam updates. Sites built on useful content tend to cope better; those built on tricks often have to start again.

How we measure SEO in the age of AI
We measure from visibility to revenue: impressions and rankings by intent, organic traffic to commercial pages, conversions and presence in AI answers. The core data comes from official tools and stays in your own accounts.
Since 31 August 2026, every site can see Search Console's generative AI performance reports for AI Overviews and AI Mode. They show impressions, not clicks or CTR, so we treat them as a visibility signal. Bing Webmaster Tools adds an AI Performance report, launched in public preview in February 2026, with citations in Copilot.
Conversions rely on reliable tracking with GA4 and Consent Mode v2, and we explain the gaps consent leaves rather than hide them.

How an SEO engagement works
Each engagement starts with access and a diagnosis, then follows a quarterly roadmap with a monthly report. Accounts and data are always yours: Search Console, Analytics and Business Profile stay in your company's name, and we work through user permissions.
Your team or web provider can apply our specifications, or our development team can do it directly. Everything we build stays in your systems, so hiring a search engine optimisation agency never means losing control. Each phase is set out in our method.

Priorities in plain language

What it is not
What we don't promise or do
- No guaranteed rankings or top spot on Google. In June 2026 Google published guidance on evaluating third-party SEO services; a ranking guarantee should make you suspicious.
- No bought links, blog networks or expired domains.
- No mass-produced AI content, nothing published without human review and no cloned pages per town or query.
- No AI myths: llms.txt has no effect on Google Search.
- Not an instant channel: if you need sales this week, paid search is faster.
- Not a report delivered and forgotten: an audit without implementation changes nothing.
What we measure
The indicators that show SEO is working
Traffic isn't the goal; the business it brings is. These indicators feature in every report.
Visibility by intent
Impressions and positions grouped by service, language and area.
Qualified organic traffic
Search sessions to commercial pages, split by language and market.
Organic conversions
Forms, calls, bookings or sales from organic search, with the limits of consent made explicit.
Presence in AI answers
AI impressions in Search Console, Copilot citations and regular checks of key queries in assistants.
Technical health
Index coverage, crawl errors and Core Web Vitals, including INP.
Authority and brand
Earned links and mentions, plus branded searches over time.

Who it's for
A particularly good fit if…
- You run a hotel, restaurant, clinic, online shop, academy or professional firm.
- Your site gets visits but few enquiries, bookings or sales.
- You rely on paid ads or intermediaries and want a channel of your own.
- You sell internationally and need to rank in English and Spanish.
- You're launching, redesigning or migrating your site.
- You want your brand cited in AI answers too.
Compliance
Rules and policies we follow
Applied by default; not a substitute for legal advice.
Google spam policies
We follow Google Search's guidelines and spam policies, which also cover its generative AI responses.
Cookies and consent
No analytics or advertising cookies before consent, rejecting as easy as accepting (per the AEPD guide) and Consent Mode v2 configured.
AI-assisted content
AI speeds up research and drafts; people review and edit everything we publish. The transparency rules in Article 50 of the EU AI Act have applied since 2 August 2026.
Accessibility
Spain's Law 11/2023 has required accessible consumer e-commerce since 28 June 2025 (micro-enterprises exempt). An accessible site is also easier for search engines and AI agents to read.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
How long does SEO take to show results?
It depends on the site, the competition and what needs building. Technical and on-page fixes often show within weeks; growth from content and authority takes several months. Seasonal businesses should start well before high season. The diagnosis gives you a realistic forecast.
How much does an SEO agency in Mallorca cost?
It depends on scope: site size, languages, areas, competition and whether you need content, links or development. After a first call and a diagnosis, we send a tailored proposal detailing exactly what you get.
What is the difference between SEO and SEM?
SEO earns organic visibility that compounds over time without paying per click. SEM buys immediate visibility through ads, mainly on Google Ads, and stops when spending stops. Together, ads reveal which searches convert and SEO reduces your reliance on paid traffic.
Does SEO still work now that Google answers with AI?
Yes. Google says AI Overviews and AI Mode are rooted in its core ranking and quality systems, and that eligibility simply requires being indexed and able to show a snippet. What changes is measurement: being cited in the answer now matters too.
Can an agency guarantee the top spot on Google?
No. Nobody controls Google's algorithm, which receives major updates several times a year, and results vary with the searcher's location and language. Expect instead a transparent plan, justified priorities and honest measurement.
Do I need SEO in English if many of my customers are international?
Yes, if a meaningful share of them search in English. A Spanish-only or machine-translated site loses those searches. You need research per language, native copy and hreflang; selling in several countries adds international SEO.
What does an SEO service include?
A technical audit, keyword research, on-page optimisation, content, authority, local SEO where relevant and reporting. Ours adds an AI visibility layer and native bilingual work.
Who owns the accounts, data and content?
You do. Every tool stays in your company's name, with user access for us, and the content we produce is yours, so you can switch provider without losing anything.
Do you work outside Mallorca?
Yes. We're based in Palma de Mallorca and provide SEO services across Spain and internationally. In Ibiza or Menorca we create area content only where the business genuinely operates.
Do you use AI to do SEO?
Yes, as a tool for analysing data, clustering keywords and speeding up drafts. Strategy, review and the final say stay human: we never mass-produce content or publish anything unreviewed.
