What it is

Build and grow your store with one team

An ecommerce agency builds the store and makes it sell: choosing the platform, shaping the catalogue and checkout, connecting payments, shipping and tax, then switching on the channels that bring orders. We work with brands in Mallorca, across Spain and abroad.

We handle both in one engagement because each half depends on the other: a flawless store without traffic doesn't sell, and a great campaign landing on a slow page or confusing checkout wastes budget. Product data, speed and measurement are built for campaigns.

This page covers our ecommerce web design and ecommerce marketing. Custom engineering draws on web development, and each paid channel on its specialists.

Shopify, WooCommerce or headless: choosing a platform

The right platform depends on your catalogue, your team and how you plan to grow. Shopify is usually the quickest route to launch and run with little technical upkeep; WooCommerce gives full control on WordPress in exchange for handling hosting and updates; headless separates the storefront from the commerce engine when experience or performance demands it.

We compare options using your data: products and variants, markets, languages and currencies, integrations, B2B sales and who runs the store. You get a written recommendation with running costs and limits, and if you already have a store, we first check whether improving it beats migrating.

  • Shopify: fast launch, a large app ecosystem and simple operation.
  • WooCommerce: full control and strong content on WordPress.
  • Headless (Shopify Hydrogen or custom): top performance and design freedom.

A store that converts, accessible and compliant

A store that converts is fast, clear and easy for everyone. We design complete product pages, useful filters, a basket without surprises and a short checkout with the payment methods customers expect, built to Core Web Vitals targets.

Since 28 June 2025, Spain's Law 11/2023 has required consumer e-commerce to be accessible; micro-enterprises providing services are exempt. We build to WCAG and EN 301 549, because an accessible store is also easier for anyone shopping on a phone.

Transparency is designed in: tax-inclusive prices and shipping shown before payment, full legal details and no dark patterns such as fake urgency or pre-ticked boxes. Once traffic allows, conversion rate optimisation refines each step.

Product data for Google Shopping and AI

Your catalogue is a key visibility asset. Google's guide to AI search, updated in July 2026, says Merchant Center feeds and Business Profiles help products and services appear in AI responses as well as classic results.

So we look after every feed attribute: descriptive titles, synced price and availability, GTINs, clean images, variants and shipping costs. On site we add product and merchant listing structured data, which remains useful on Google. AI helps us fill attributes at scale; a person checks every value.

AI-agent shopping is US-first: Google's Universal Commerce Protocol, announced in January 2026, powers checkout with eligible US retailers in AI Mode and the Gemini app, and OpenAI retired ChatGPT's Instant Checkout, so orders complete on the merchant's site. We ready your catalogue without promising what Spain doesn't have yet.

Ecommerce marketing: channels that bring orders

Ecommerce marketing works when each channel has a clear role and all are measured alike. We combine search, Shopping, social, email and content around your margins, order value and trading calendar, readying campaigns before each peak.

On Google, the feed powers Shopping and Performance Max, which offers campaign-level negative keywords, a search terms report and channel reporting, managed by our Google Ads team. On Meta, Advantage+ shopping campaigns are now Advantage+ sales campaigns, and TikTok Shop has operated in Spain since 9 December 2024: both are planned within paid social.

Repeat purchases come from email: welcome, abandoned basket, post-purchase and win-back flows, with the consent the law requires, built through marketing automation.

Everything is measured with GA4 ecommerce events and Consent Mode v2, the baseline in Europe: without valid consent signals, EEA traffic can't feed audiences or remarketing. We add enhanced conversions and Meta's Conversions API alongside the Pixel; the architecture sits within analytics and tracking.

The SERMAN approach

Why build your store with SERMAN

  1. Build and sell, one team

The people developing the store know the campaigns that will feed it, and vice versa.

  2. Your catalogue as an asset

Product data looked after for Google, Shopping, social and AI assistants.

  3. Compliance by default

Accessibility, transparent pricing, consent and legal pages from the first design.

What it is not

What an ecommerce project with us isn't

  • Not a template with promises of quick sales: we don't guarantee revenue, ROAS or rankings.
  • Not advertising without foundations: a broken feed or tracking gets fixed before more budget goes in.
  • Not a store tied to us: platform, domain, feed and ad accounts stay in your name.
  • No fake or undisclosed incentivised reviews, which Google's review-snippet guidelines have targeted since July 2026.

What we measure

Indicators that show your store is selling

We measure the business, not just traffic.

  1. Conversion rate

By device, language, channel and landing page.

  2. Average order value

And how it moves with bundles, shipping offers or recommendations.

  3. Drop-off by step

Basket, details, shipping and payment, to see where purchases are lost.

  4. Feed health

Approved, limited or disapproved products in Merchant Center, and why.

  5. Revenue by channel and repeat purchase

Organic, Shopping, social and email, plus returning customers, within consent limits.

A particularly good fit if…

  • You sell fashion, cosmetics, food, drink, homeware or crafted products.
  • Your store is slow, hard to manage or falls short of accessibility law.

Compliance

Rules your store follows

By default; not a substitute for legal advice.

  1. Accessibility (Law 11/2023)

Required since 28 June 2025 for consumer e-commerce, except service micro-enterprises.

  2. Information and prices (LSSI, art. 10)

Company details, tax ID, register data and direct contact, plus prices showing tax and shipping clearly.

  3. Commercial email (LSSI, arts. 20 to 21)

No marketing email without prior consent, except to customers about similar products, with an easy opt-out.

  4. Environmental claims

Directive (EU) 2024/825 applies from 27 September 2026, though Spain's transposition is incomplete: specific, evidenced claims, never generic 'eco' or 'sustainable'.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Shopify or WooCommerce: which is better for my online store?

It depends. Shopify is quicker to launch and run, with hosting, security and updates in one subscription. WooCommerce gives full control and strong content on WordPress, but you handle hosting and maintenance. We recommend what fits your catalogue and team.

How much does it cost to build a professional online store?

It depends on the platform, products and variants, languages and markets, integrations and design, plus platform, app and payment-gateway fees. After a first conversation, we send a phased proposal with everything itemised.

Does my online store have to be accessible by law?

Yes, if you sell to consumers in Spain: since 28 June 2025, Law 11/2023 requires it, except for service micro-enterprises (fewer than 10 staff and turnover or balance sheet up to €2 million). This isn't legal advice.

How do I get my products on Google Shopping?

You need a Merchant Center account with a complete feed that matches your site and meets Google's policies. That feed powers product results and Shopping and Performance Max campaigns, and its quality drives much of your visibility.

Can I sell on TikTok Shop from Spain?

Yes. TikTok Shop launched in Spain on 9 December 2024, its first market in continental Europe. It suits products that shine on video, synced with your catalogue and stock.

How do I prepare my online store for AI-assisted shopping?

With complete, consistent product data on your site and in Merchant Center, product structured data, semantic and accessible HTML and a simple checkout. Agent shopping is US-first, so in Spain today it's about being ready.

What does a Shopify agency in Spain do beyond building the store?

It helps the store sell: feed and Merchant Center, Shopping and social campaigns, email, conversion optimisation and measurement, in one plan that reports on sales, not just visits.
